The next meeting is coming right up! We only have three weeks between meetings this time due to pushing up the Jan mtg to avoid New Years. The good news is the book is a very quick read. So grab "Old Man and the Sea", by Ernest Hemingway as fast as you can and get to it! We'll see you in a few weeks.
Go to half.com to pick up the book for as low as 83 cents!
Jan recap! We had the best turn out yet-13 people came and we literally brought the house down. It was such a great meeting. Talking to a few of you, we discussed what made it such a great meeting. The number one consensus was that most everyone was prepared to discuss the book and even those who hadn't had a chance to read it, contributed comments. We all felt enriched by each other's insights. What a great meeting! And thanks to Jessica for going way overboard by providing the delicious cheese fondue! That was really fun.
Feel free to post the recipe! I think we have a few requests for Sherry's chocolate chip cookies also! See you all soon!
